
PT Prima Plants Indonesia signs MoU with Universitas Gadjah Mada

We are delighted to announce that PT Prima Plants Indonesia have on the 28th of February 2023 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) for the development of the Agarwood Industry within Indonesia.
“This MoU follows several months of discussions between both parties and outlines the framework of a mutual collaboration agreement between PT Prima Plants Indonesia, its sister company Prima Plants Research & Development Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, the Faculty of Agriculture and also the Faculty of Forestry within Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).
This MoU strives to develop the Agarwood Industry within Indonesia and covers not only a project for a mature existing 4,6-hectare Gaharu Plantation owned by the Forestry Department within the Banyumas Regency of Central Java, but brings in a further 50-hectare pilot scheme with UGM.
